Capital Campaign

God has blessed the Home Church community over the years as each generation has taken the responsibility to maintain and improve our historic buildings. In 2009, we needed to renovate several areas of the church, replace outdated heating and air conditioning systems and set aside funds for outreach. Every member of our congregation was invited to participate in the campaign, called “It’s Our Home. It’s Our Time.” The generous responses provided for the completion of the heating and air conditioning systems and renovations to the Sanctuary, Fellowship Hall, Parlor and classrooms. Two projects remain active: renovation of the chapel and designation of the amount of funds to be directed toward outreach. The total of more than $1.9 million pledged – even during difficult economic times – has made this endeavor a success and demonstrates the commitment of our congregation to ensuring the future of Home Church.
