Our Pastors
Doug supports the work of staff and lay leaders as the congregation moves through the transition between called senior pastors. His primary role is to help Home Church refocus on God’s call for them as they prepare for a healthy journey ahead.
Doug is an ordained Lutheran pastor and has been an intentional interim minister for 19 years. His wife, Beth, is also a Lutheran pastor and serves on the bishop’s staff in Salisbury. They have two adult children.
Carl grew up in Winston-Salem attending Home Church. He graduated from Guilford College, received his masters at Moravian Theological Seminary and earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from Drew University.
He has served in Alaska, with the Moravian Board of Christian Education, and as pastor of First Moravian in Greensboro, Fries Moravian in Winston-Salem and Unity Moravian in Lewisville. He came to Home Church in September of 2003. He and his wife, Pam, have three children and three grandchildren.
