Senior Friends Thursday, Jan. 18, on Zoom at 1 p.m.
This Thursday Meaghan O'Riordan, archivist of the Southern Province, will be with us to talk about her life and her work as Archivist.
The Archives of the Southern Province has been described by the North Carolina State Archivist as the most valuable non-governmental archives in the state.
With more than 500,000 pages of records predating the Civil War, almost all in German script, one can be assured that no one person has read them all, and that there is yet much to be discovered concerning our long gone past, right here, under our feet.
Come join us as we learn more about the Archives, our archivist and her work, on Zoom, at 1 pm!
